Get to know the experts that will be joining us for our inaugural Premium Tour & Talk:

Alan Mckenna from Loch Ness Exploration (LNE)

After reading Tim Dinsdale’s book ‘The Story Of The Loch Ness Monster’ Alan was completely captivated by the world-famous mystery. From a young age all he ever wanted to do was to search for Nessie but on that journey, he was also introduced to the importance of the natural environment in and around Loch Ness. Both are equally fascinating to study and that’s why he wanted to create something for everyone to enjoy. LNE offers everyone a chance to search for something truly spectacular and at the same time we can also learn more about the natural elements. It’s more than just a hobby – it’s part of his life.

Steve Feltham the legendary Nessie Hunter

Steve has been a full-time hunter of the Loch Ness monster since 1991. He is based at Dores beach in a former mobile library overlooking the loch. For over three decades he has maintained an almost constant observation of the Loch in the hope of adding more information to the evidence. The piece of evidence that he considers to be the best proof of Nessie that he has ever seen is Ronald Mackenzie’s sonar contact from September 2020. It could be said that the study of this mystery has been his life’s passion.

Roland Watson a writer and blogger on Loch Ness and Nessie

Roland has been visiting the loch since the 1980s in search of the monster as well as blogging on the possibilities, people, history and folklore of the creature’s tale. Various experiments and equipment have been tried in those years against the backdrop of a phenomenon which is not so willing to reveal its secrets. The use of leading technology at the loch this coming weekend as well as revisiting some neglected ones may well reveal new data concerning an old mystery.

So, if you find yourself wandering the Scottish Highlands, don’t miss the opportunity to immerse yourself in the mystery, history, and captivating beauty of Loch Ness.
