Opening hours.

The Loch Ness Centre is open, following a major refurbishment and will then be open daily (excluding Christmas Day). Tours will run every 10 minutes.

 

Deepscan Cruises is running hourly (except at 13.00) from April until October.

Ticket prices.

To guarantee entry on the date and time of your choice, we strongly recommend booking your tickets in advance and online where you can save up to £4 per person

Our Anytime Entry Tickets let you dive into The Loch Ness Centre whenever you please on your ticketed date, and we’ll whisk you into the next available tour for an immersive experience!

Please note, our site is fully cashless, so we won’t be able to accept any cash transactions on the day of your visit.

We’re located in the old Drumnadrochit Hotel, the birthplace of The Loch Ness Project, which is just a 20-minute drive from Inverness along the picturesque Loch Ness Trail.

How to get here.

By Bus.

If you’re staying in Inverness and would like to visit The Loch Ness Centre, Stagecoach’s line 17 bus goes from Inverness to Drumnadrochit daily. For up-to-date information and other routes, visit the Stagecoach website.

Travelling from Inverness.

From Inverness, follow signs for Fort William and/or the A82 heading south. You will pass alongside the loch itself for about 14 miles before reaching Drumnadrochit. The Loch Ness Centre is visible upon entry to the village on the right-hand side.

Travelling from Fort William.

From Fort William, follow signs for Inverness and/or the A82. The distance is around 50 miles and will take between 60-90 minutes on average. Upon entry to the village, continue through Drumnadrochit, past the village green and over the small bridge, following the bend in the road to the right. The Loch Ness Centre is on the left, just past the bank.

Travelling from Inverness Airport.

Follow signs for the A95 to Inverness. From Inverness, follow signs for Fort William and/or the A82 heading south. You will pass alongside the loch itself for about 14 miles before reaching Drumnadrochit. The Loch Ness Centre is visible upon entry to the village on the right-hand side.

Car Parking.

Our guests benefit from 160 minutes of complimentary on-site parking, with more than 120 car parking spaces and motorcycle bays to the rear of the site. We would recommend our neighbouring hotel, The Loch Ness Drumnadrochit Hotel for longer stays. Our car park closes two hours after the last entry (except for hotel guests).

If you’re camping overnight, please visit Visit Scotland for nearby camping locations.

The Nessie Shop.

Follow up your tour with a visit to the Nessie Shop for a wonderful array of soft toys, Nessie books and themed souvenirs. Don’t leave the Highlands without bringing a Loch Ness memento home with you!

Food & Drink.

Whether you’re looking for a casual bite to eat or a full dining experience, there are plenty of food options for everyone near the town centre. Come and indulge while you explore the myths and legends of Loch Ness.

Our neighbouring outlets include the newly-refurbished Drum Restaurant and Bar, which features locally-sourced produce and delightful dishes; the Cobbs Café, which serves hot drinks, sandwiches and their famous Cobbs Cakes; and Mieles Ice Cream, which serves delicious artisan ice cream made in the Highlands.

The Whisky Shop.

After a hard day of monster hunting, the Whisky Shop is the perfect place to have a wee dram and relax. It offers a selection of more than 1,000 Scottish whiskies and a large choice of Scottish beers and ales, as well as shortbread, haggis, jams, preserves, honey, fudge, tablet, rock and other sweets and candies.

The Great Glen Distillery

Great Glen Distillery was founded by two friends in 2020. Their gin recipe uses Scottish heather, sheep sorrel, and global botanicals like juniper, frankincense, and angelica root. The gin has a forest, floral, and citrus scent, a rich earthy taste, balanced with citrus and floral, and finishes with pepper and spice.

On-site facilities.

The Loch Ness Centre has full disabled access and facilities. Toilets are available on-site for customers only, including baby changing facilities.

Dogs are welcome on-site outside the centre when accompanied by responsible owners. Only assistance dogs are allowed inside the premises.

Please note, our site is fully cashless, so we won’t be able to accept any cash transactions.

Our guests benefit from complimentary on-site parking, with more than 120 car parking spaces and motorcycle bays to the rear of the site.

Please be aware that we do not have any luggage facilities. Oversized backpacks, suitcases and luggage are not permitted inside The Loch Ness Centre.

A beautiful garden surrounded by wildflowers is available for guests to enjoy before or after their tour.
