Richard, a pet food salesman, stumbled upon an unexpected sight during a routine delivery near Foyers Mains. Captivated by a disturbance on the Loch’s surface, he seized the moment with his Olympus auto camera—a snapshot that would kickstart a global fascination.
Contrary to expectations, the ensuing media frenzy didn’t disrupt the Whites’ lives. They settled into a comfortable life in the Highlands, surrounded by friendly neighbours and abundant wildlife.
Richard’s routine delivery turned extraordinary when he realised the unusual nature of his snapshots. The photos, shared by Gary Campbell of the Loch Ness Fan Club, attracted global attention, with media outlets and radio stations vying for interviews.
